1. Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys may just be the poster girl for natural beauty. After decades of full glam makeup, the singer/songwriter decided a couple of years ago that she wanted to ditch makeup and go au natural.
The turning point came during a photoshoot for her 2016 album ‘Here’. Alicia arrived at the shoot from the gym, without an ounce of makeup on. Her photographer loved her raw look and wanted to capture it, seeing that the authenticity will be perfect for the album too.
This empowered Alicia to go makeup-free indefinitely. Her newfound sense of empowerment also gifted her with more self love. She even graced the red carpet makeup-free a couple of times, during the 2016 BET Awards and the 2018 Grammy Awards. One of the few celebrities who are brave enough to do so!
Alicia has maintained her stance but still wears minimal makeup from time to time. The difference now is she doesn’t feel pressured to cover up anymore.
“I don’t want to cover up anymore. Not my face, not my mind, not my soul, not my thoughts, not my dreams, not my struggles, not my emotional growth. Nothing” – Alicia Keys
2. Yara Shahidi

Ok, we know Yara Shahidi is only 20 years old and we get that great skin kind of comes hand in hand with youth but what her spirit, vibes and overall beauty make her a perfect candidate for this list.
While most young women her age go through great efforts to face tune their photos and curate their Instagram feeds, Yara is real, raw and relatable.
A quick browse on her social media and you can see how her personality shines. While Yara is such a chameleon and looks good both in full glam and natural looks, she is absolutely beautiful in minimal makeup. Her skin is just flawless!
3. Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross is another powerhouse actor who we can’t help but admire. The Girlfriends star, who is also a fashion icon, by the way, has no problem showing off her bare face and natural hair. Being a lover of natural looks, the actress has constantly preached about self-appreciation and embracing natural curls. Her love for curls brought her to create her own haircare line Pattern, which has gotten rave reviews. We love that a big part of her celebrity skin care regimen is to embrace natural hair.
Can we just say also point out that Tracee is more than just skin goals? She is also body goals! The actress is pushing 50 but still has such a fit figure.
4. Angela Bassett

Angela Bassett is the perfect example for that popular saying “Black don’t crack”. The award-winning actress turned 62 this year but can still give 20-year-olds a run for their money. She always looks so beautiful on the red carpet with full glam makeup and when she takes it off (or wears minimal makeup only), guess what – still a beauty!
It’s pretty obvious that Miss Bassett knows how to take care of herself. Judging from her toned arms and fit figure, her celebrity skin care regimen follows a strict exercise and diet to make sure she maintains her enviable physique.
In one interview, Angela shared her secret to keeping fit, which turned out to be surprisingly doable. The actress shared that she switches up her diet on a weekly basis. She stays away from carbs and fat – two of the most unhealthy things you can have – and eats veggies every day. When it comes to exercising, she says she works out four to five times a week. Wow! That’s discipline!
See, celebrity skin care regimens are not as complex as you might think. They are definitely achievable, as long as you have dedication. Aside from great skin care products, hydration, healthy diet, exercise and a positive outlook all help in achieving that glow!
