While we wish our excellent skin care products could be the cure to all of your skin issues, they are not! There is more you have to do! Here is some information to help us practice more selfcare with skincare.
Unfortunately, skin creams and cleansers are not enough to keep your skin in tip-top shape. You need also need to watch what you eat.
Here are a few of the worst foods you can eat when you want to keep your skin behaving well!
1) Processed Grains! Process grains like a lot of baked goods lead to more skin issues because they increase glucose and insulin levels which results in higher glycemic index and inflammation. Instead choose whole grain options which are high in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory.
2) Sugars! Your sweet tooth could be causing your skin to loose its youthful glow. It damages collagen and elastin to things that gives your skin its plump. Reach for fruit instead and get your sugars that natural way.
3) Alcohol! This aggravates your skin and dehydrates your skin. dehydrated skin is dry, dry skin is more vulnerable to irritation. Limit the amount of alcohol you drink if you must have it. Your skin will glow in appreciation!
